The Center for Gender and Child Studies (PSGA) conducted a workshop on Advanced Training in Gender Studies (Pelatihan Sekolah Gender Tingkat Lanjut) on Saturday, 23 October 2021. The workshop was attended by students of the UIN Sumatera Utara. The workshop is expected to produce agents of gender studies.
The workshop was started with a prayer led by Sofyan Ashori, a student from the Faculty of Shariah and Law at the Universitas Sumatera Utara. The Head of the Center of Community Service (PPM) at UIN Sumatera Utara, Dr. Syukri Albani Nasution, M.Ag. delivered a welcoming speech in this workshop.
Dr. Harmona Daulay, M.SI from the Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, the speaker of this workshop, was accompanied by Siti Khadijah Pulungan, M.Kn from the Forum Masyarakat Sipil in Sumatera Utara.
